RDCongoInfo v1.0, the first version of RDCongoInfo, was developed from DevInfo by the National Institute of Statistics with technical and financial support of UNICEF DRC. This database enables the DRC to organize, analyze display over the time human development indicators, and monitor progress towards the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) as well as assess achievement on the implementation of the Growth and Poverty Reduction Strategy.
The national adaptation of RDCongoInfo contains in its first version 362 indicators classified according to 17 different sectors such as: Agriculture, Demography, Economy, Education, Health, HIV/AIDS etc. These indicators are associated with 2 different objectives: the Millennium Development Goals and those related to the 5 pillars of the Growth and Poverty Reduction Strategy.
