| In December 2011, leaders from across the world endorsed the Busan Partnership For Effective Development Cooperation sounding the call for aid effectiveness to be defined by development effectiveness within an expanded North-South cooperation paradigm. In addition, Busan emphasized the importance of country-based systems for monitoring and evaluation, managing for results, the use of results frameworks, and the importance of using performance indicators consistent with national development strategies.

| The Busan Declaration marks the latest step in a decade-long process in which the global development community has been redefining the aid effectiveness agenda. The Rome Declaration (2003) promoted principles of harmonization, country-based systems, and capacity building. The Paris Declaration (2005) forwarded an action agenda based on mutual accountability and alignment. The Accra Agenda (2008) reinforced these through a resolve to implement. |

stakeholders for integrated and comprehensive analysis, results display, policy-making, and publication. Furthermore, they can support subscription management by development actors for automated data updates and data sharing.
Finally, DevInfo-powered thematic online dashboards allow governments and donors to disclose aid data while easily engaging with constituents through a colorful and user-friendly interface. Impact results can be displayed through interactive maps, visualizations, and user-defined reports, promoting social and civil society inclusion, a critical link for 21st century democracy.

The site provides development partners with comprehensive resources on how DevInfo applications can help achieve key objectives of the international aid effectiveness agenda. |

Through the site, visitors can download the DevInfo Initiative Response to Busan document, explore ways DevInfo technologies contribute to specific Busan objectives, and download details on DevInfo technology for aid coordination. The site also invites aid effectiveness specialists, private sector development partners, policy and decision makers, M&E specialists, and other development partners to engage with the DevInfo Support Group for customized innovations.
