Launched Online to Track Human Development Data
in Dubai |

Following the successful launch of the desktop version of DubaiInfo, the Dubai Statistics Center has launched an online version of the same, to track human development data for Dubai, one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates. DubaiInfo is a customized adaptation of the DevInfo database system endorsed by the United Nations for monitoring and tracking progress on human development data related to the Millennium Development Goals and other national priorities.

The online version of DubaiInfo, available at http://dubaiinfo.dsc.gov.ae/, was launched with the CensusInfo and DubaiInfo databases in both Arabic and English, allowing users to search and browse for data in either language. The database system was launched by the Dubai Statistics Center, which compiles and disseminates economic, demographic and social statistics for the Emirate of Dubai.
